What we want to read

A strong proposal starts with a specific question, tension or useful distinction, then shows why it matters to a general reader. We welcome explanatory pieces, comparisons, reflective essays grounded in everyday experience and carefully framed history. Avoid universal promises, tidy formulas and stories that treat one person's path as a rule for everyone.

A useful pitch

Tell us the working idea, the main point you hope to explore, who might find it useful and how you would approach it. Include a brief note about relevant experience or any important limits to your perspective. A pitch is enough; please do not send a complete draft unless we request one.
